Prepress Technician

Job Description:

This will be a part time 1st shift position working Monday through Friday 20 hours per week.

The Prepress Technician must possess strong communication skills and a positive attitude. The tech must be thoughtful and detail-oriented to keep large format digital printers supplied with print ready digital art files.

SEG Systems believes in striving to continually improve all working processes within the company. The Prepress Technician will play a role in defining and documenting best practices and standard operating procedures within the print department.

Daily Tasks:

Prepare print ready art files for graphic production using provided prep software.
Produce and add required post production machining layers such as cut lines.
Assist in printing and finishing areas as needed.

Job Requirements:

Expert level experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Full color vision.
Ability to absorb training with new graphic software programs quickly.
Technically savvy. Ability to move through programs and execute computer functions quickly.
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
