At the 147th International AES Convention in New York City, Waves wanted to not just show up, but stand out. With that idea in mind, they came to SEG Systems through Exhibit Trader with renderings of their dream trade show booth. The booth would be made up of custom millwork, ways to high cords in a trade show booth, a waved ceiling over the booth, and wall-mounted TVs and shelving. Spanning 40 feet, this East Carolina University wall-mounted fabric frame uses a dye-sublimated printable blockout.

Why blockout, you might ask? Printing on blockout helps portray a flawless print when there is light shining from behind the graphic. In this case, RGBW lighting surrounded the perimeter of the fabric frame to create a halo lighting effect once mounted on the wall. Check out more of our college football projects!

This skyline lightbox fabric frame montage keeps the room bright and boasts artwork of Uptown Charlotte. Using a 4.75″ extrusion, this montage was powder coated and made up of six lightboxes. A similar fabric frame montage was created using SEG’s 1.5 extrusion that was powder coated white for a clean finish. Check out one of our other office projects!

US Foods events require a lot of details, such as meeting spaces, crowd control barriers, and counters. In order to create a one-of-a-kind experience, US Foods requested custom curved countertops and a 360-degree TV mount station.
