Lids & Lululemon Collaboration MODify™ Retail Fixtures

To celebrate their new collaboration with Lululemon, sports gear powerhouse Lids approached SEG Systems® to create mobile, customized retail fixtures from our MODify™ line of retail fixtures. As a long-standing partner of SEG, Lids was looking for a fixture that could be customized for the partnership then easily reconfigured and reused for seasons to come. Having seen the MODify fixtures at a retail event earlier this year, they felt this could be the perfect solution for their needs and were excited to expand the relationship with SEG. Following the conclusion of the Lids and Lululemon collaboration, the graphics can be swapped out easily, providing the look and feel of brand new fixtures with minimal cost and downtime for the brand. Our retail display fixtures are durable and built to last, with additional mobility coming from the built in casters, allowing Lids to  easily reconfigure accessories and reposition in the footprint as their needs change.

MODify fixtures are available in custom, semi-custom, and quick-ship standard kits to suit fastest turnaround times. The co-branded fixtures  were rolled out to sixteen high-performing Lids stores across the US. Each semi-custom MODify fixture was powder coated white and upfit with u-bars, shelves, and faceout bars, all designed around the custom towel bar accessory. Custom acrylic containers were created to provide additional, segmented storage on the upper shelf for smaller items and accessories.

Lids multi-level, 12,000-square foot flagship retail space on the Las Vegas Strip is the brand’s largest concept and experiential store. It includes shop-in-shop concept displays and lightboxes, highlighting each of the major league sports, MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, Collegiate, and other sports brands exclusive to Vegas.

Lids came to SEG Systems and asked for ideas to make this flagship store unique. We showed them our arches and lightboxes and unique custom display fixtures, and they felt like we hit a homerun. We also know that sometimes it doesn’t make sense to start from scratch. So, we worked with their existing fixtures and retrofitted many of the accessories, shelves, and hang bars to be seamless with their new retail merchandise displays, arches, and lightboxes throughout their entire store.

Want to shop, get an autographed item from your favorite sports player, while watching your team on the big screen and customize your merchandise in the store’s Custom Zone and do all of that in one retail space. Well, now you can! Lids not only continues to expand their retail footprint throughout the US, Canada and globally but they are enhancing their experiential offerings for their customer too. JD Sports, a leading global omnichannel retailer of sports fashion, casual wear and footwear known for selling elite sports and outdoor brands like Nike, Adidas, Puma, and The North Face along with their own private labels have mastered the art of creating consumer experiences that cross digital and physical retail seamlessly. Using SEG Systems lightboxes, JD Sports is able to exhibit high-end signage with graphics and digital tech that can be changed at minimal cost based on seasonal brand campaigns. The design included custom wall lockers for ASICS BOPIS (Buy Online, Pickup In-Store) fixture, providing their online shoppers a quick and easy way to pick up their purchases.

To further the enhancements offered to their customers SEG Systems was able to customize their Mind Uplifter display fixture, which utilizes a combination of facial scanning technology with scientifically developed questions to measure cognitive and emotional metrics to show how movement makes you think and feel. This unique technology allows ASICS to get personal with their customers while providing the customer with a pioneering experience.

PetSmart Retail Merchandiser Upfit

To celebrate their new partnership with interior designers Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent, PetSmart reached out to SEG Systems® to create a line of merchandise fixtures and SEG frames to elevate their existing gondolas. For their first fabric frames project, PetSmart’s goal was to elevate the existing fixtures without the need for installers so that each piece could be installed at an associate level.
