Life-Size Adidas Shoe Box at Mississippi State

Mississippi State’s Football Team added a life-size shoe box to their football complex. Top Shelf Creative partnered with SEG Systems to design and build a #hailstate Adidas shoe box that stands at nearly 9 feet tall and 16 feet wide. The box is made up of 3″ double-sided inside/outside SEG frames, 8″ double-sided inside/outside SEG frames, and printable blockout fabric. Inside, there is a ceiling lightbox with backlit fabric.

The Mississippi State Football Team included the box as the background of their promotional #hailstate hype videos and player photos on social media. Check out the rendering to reality below! Photos courtesy of the Mississippi State Football Facebook page.

The Mercedes-Benz Stadium is home to two different professional teams, the Atlanta Falcons and United FC, with just one space for a team store. Given this dilemma, SEG Systems was able to manufacture and install displays that were able to appropriate the space for each team, depending on the event scheduled that day. Programmable LED light sabers surrounding mannequins really bring the space to life – visible both inside and outside of the store.

A ceiling-height LED-lit acrylic tower covers one end of the store, with large 3D lettering designed to be quickly changed out on game days. Frames with easily interchangeable fabric graphics enable a quick transformation from one team’s decor to the others’. SEG Systems was able to achieve the impossible, making two teams fit seamlessly into one space.

SEG Systems had the privilege of creating a wall-mounted registered graphic collage for Louisiana State University’s LSU Sportshop. They came to us because they wanted an iconic collage that captured the spirit and essence of LSU Athletics and reflected the unique history, traditions, and values of the university while adhering to their strict brand guidelines. 

To achieve this, SEG Systems produced a variety of silicone edge graphic panels using varying depths of aluminum extrusions to add depth and variation to the piece. Our in-house production team utilized the latest dye-sublimated printing and cutting technology to ensure that the registered graphics were the highest quality, with vibrant colors and sharp details. To top this off, we sourced a custom LED wall-mounted sign from our friends at Eventbrite.  The result was a stunning wall-mounted collage that captures the quintessence of Louisiana State University athletics and serves as a source of inspiration for students, alumni, and fans alike.

If you build it, they will come! On August 12th 2021, the New York Yankees and Chicago White Sox made history at the famous “Field of Dreams” field and movie set! This was the first ever MLB competition held at this historical place, a $5 million event with 8,000 attendees. SEG Systems is proud to have created lightboxes and frames for the Baseballism retail store at the event. Thank you Outside Architecture for the opportunity to work on such a cool project! For the NBA All-Star Weekend, SEG Systems was asked to create a custom lightbox stage for the eBay and High Snobiety collaboration. The event catered to sneakerheads and basketball fans alike with their Shoezeum (the world’s first sneaker museum) pop-up in Charlotte’s own, McColl Center for Art and Innovation. A modular central staging enclosure, highlighting the auctioneer’s collections, paired with a photogenic, multi-layered mixture of plexiglass, colored mirror, and lightboxes was utilized as a backdrop to showcase exclusive interviews, DJ performances and a digital silent auction. Made up of a custom millwork and an acrylic floor that mimicked a basketball court surrounded by SEG lightbox displays, the custom SEG Systems centerpiece was the focal point of the event.
