The Miami Dolphins kicked off their 2021 Draft Day party with a pop-up apparel shop on the Hard Rock Stadium field. SEG Systems teamed up with Centerplate to create freestanding lightboxes and prints to accompany the merchandise displays and jersey customization center. The event was the Dolphin’s first public event since the coronavirus and featured current players, alumni, and special guests.

Spanning 40 feet, this East Carolina University wall-mounted fabric frame uses a dye-sublimated printable blockout.

Why blockout, you might ask? Printing on blockout helps portray a flawless print when there is light shining from behind the graphic. In this case, RGBW lighting surrounded the perimeter of the fabric frame to create a halo lighting effect once mounted on the wall. Check out more of our college football projects!

While keeping their classic look, the Virginia Tech Hokies used SEG fabric frames to decorate their newly renovated wrestling hall. They were looking for a design solution to display their sports achievements, so SEG Systems came to the table with custom frames angled with custom cut connecting extrusions to create sleek, banner-style custom-shaped SEG frames, accompanied by several other standard rectangular aluminum frames. For instance, what better way to find your seat in State Farm Arena than with a 40 foot wide sign? After the silicone edge graphics were custom cut, SEG aluminum frame extrusions were mounted to the stadium-level dividers. As a result, it created the perfect fabric canvas for advertisement and sponsorship opportunities.

Showcasing a trophy is a big deal. Think of how many photos will be taken – you don’t want anyone to snap a photo of your win at a bad angle, do you? The Cotton Bowl needed a custom SEG pedestal that was portable and photo-worthy to present the winner’s trophy on the field. SEG Systems’ solution was to create a lightweight portable pedestal constructed from 1.25” deep fabric frames, topped off with a CNC cut black Sintra top.

Not to finish there, they needed a trophy display to sit in the AT&T Stadium lobby. The counter display needed to be reusable and able to be continuously updated throughout the years. SEG fabric frames are the ideal solution for easy graphic change out, this time constructed from our corner lightbox technology and an LED panel on top to light up the trophy and helmets.
