Lids multi-level, 12,000-square foot flagship retail space on the Las Vegas Strip is the brand’s largest concept and experiential store. It includes shop-in-shop concept displays and lightboxes, highlighting each of the major league sports, MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, Collegiate, and other sports brands exclusive to Vegas.

Lids came to SEG Systems and asked for ideas to make this flagship store unique. We showed them our arches and lightboxes and unique custom display fixtures, and they felt like we hit a homerun. We also know that sometimes it doesn’t make sense to start from scratch. So, we worked with their existing fixtures and retrofitted many of the accessories, shelves, and hang bars to be seamless with their new retail merchandise displays, arches, and lightboxes throughout their entire store.

Want to shop, get an autographed item from your favorite sports player, while watching your team on the big screen and customize your merchandise in the store’s Custom Zone and do all of that in one retail space. Well, now you can! Lids not only continues to expand their retail footprint throughout the US, Canada and globally but they are enhancing their experiential offerings for their customer too. I think that is called a Win, Win!

Brighten up your storefront with custom lit signage and fabric lightboxes as seen in this JD Sports store located in the Mall of Millenia in Orlando, Florida and across North America. JD Sports, a leading global omnichannel retailer of sports fashion, casual wear and footwear known for selling elite sports and outdoor brands like Nike, Adidas, Puma, and The North Face along with their own private labels have mastered the art of creating consumer experiences that cross digital and physical retail seamlessly. Using SEG Systems lightboxes, JD Sports is able to exhibit high-end signage with graphics and digital tech that can be changed at minimal cost based on seasonal brand campaigns. Lit custom 3D signage was also utilized to highlight store departments and partnering brand logos. Home Run Dugout® has a history of fulfilling people’s dreams of hitting a home run by creating an immersive, tech-enhanced baseball experience suitable for players of all levels. To bring this concept to life, they partnered with SEG Systems®, leveraging our expertise in custom display solutions and freestanding SEG frames. SEG Systems engineered curved SEG frames as projection screens tailored to Home Run Dugout’s needs for both mobile popups as well as upfitting their flagship location in Houston-Katy, Texas.

These custom-bent aluminum frames, paired with tailor-made stretch fabric graphics, created a perfect backdrop for the digital baseball projection experience. The curved SEG frame design not only supported dynamic projection and interactivity but also enhanced the brand’s overall aesthetic and customer experience. Durable and easily assembled, SEG fabric frames can be reused again and again at future events, helping Home Run Dugout scale its unique entertainment model. The result was a visually captivating, durable, and functional space that ties seamlessly into HRD’s immersive venue experience. That is why ASICS asked SEG Services with SEG Systems’ help, to design innovative retail fixtures for today’s shoppers with tomorrow’s technology. The design included custom wall lockers for ASICS BOPIS (Buy Online, Pickup In-Store) fixture, providing their online shoppers a quick and easy way to pick up their purchases.

To further the enhancements offered to their customers SEG Systems was able to customize their Mind Uplifter display fixture, which utilizes a combination of facial scanning technology with scientifically developed questions to measure cognitive and emotional metrics to show how movement makes you think and feel. This unique technology allows ASICS to get personal with their customers while providing the customer with a pioneering experience.

Section 127, an industry leading design agency in the branding and experiential space, teamed up with SEG Systems to add suspended silicone edge graphic (SEG) frames to their art installation alongside the Anila Quayyum Agha lit centerpiece.  

Non-lit hanging SEG frames were used to create a graphic perimeter around the lacquered steel and LED lighting piece, All the Flowers Are for Me: Turquoise, 2017. Each frame was powder coated white, then upfit with vibrant, printed silicone edge graphics for exhibition in the Harvest Pavilion of the Indiana State Fair. SEG frames are the perfect canvas to showcase your work year after year. A sustainable creative solution, silicone edge graphic art allows the artist to change out the printed fabric graphics for different shows or events as well.
